In lieu of a contract, we require a 50% advance to initiate projects. This allows us to pay necessary field research expenses up-front. These advances are normally our only contracts with our clients. We believe a contract restricts our relationships with our clients. Of course, if our clients require a contract or confidentiality agreement, we are happy to oblige.
