In 1984, after graduating from The University of Georgia, Mark Michelson founded Michelson & Associates, Inc. to provide customized research services for companies whose business depends upon understanding their customers and prospects. Mark has an extensive background in advertising, strategic planning and marketing research. He also has the ability to quickly understand complex marketing problems and develop solutions which are insightful, meaningful and effective. Mark's true talent is helping people better understand each other - by developing open communications between companies and consumers that allow for an unbiased, two-way flow of information. Mark's experience as a market researcher includes over 15 years of developing and implementing strategic marketing research programs for local, regional, national and international corporations in a variety of industries. Mark gets personally involved in all aspects of a project As one of the nation's leading focus group moderators, Mark personally conducts an average of 200 sessions each year. Having conducted well over 2,000 sessions worldwide, Mark has experience with a variety of groups - from teens and homemakers to attorneys and surgeons. As a moderator, Mark likes to have fun with people in his sessions. "Who said marketing research has to be boring? People are much more likely to speak openly and honestly if they are relaxed and having fun. Besides, if it isn't fun and interesting, why do it?
